Key responsibilities:
- Leading and managing key marketing functions of the genre - communications, associations, PR, media planning & buying.
- Working closely with various stakeholders in the organizational team - content team and vertical leads, sales, brand solutions & talent management teams, analytics, operations & organic reach management teams.
- Working closely with all communication agencies and leading the ideation & execution responsibilities -creative, PR, analytics, digital / social media agencies.
Desired skill set:
- Ownership skills: Think and lead like a brand / genre owner. Ideate and jam with relevant teams to find the most optimum opportunities and the execution thereof.
- Managerial skills - keeping communication clear amongst all stakeholders and ability to get projects implemented as planned through various resources.
- Communication skills: ability to listen and offer solutions. Ability to brief and understand a brief well.
- Social skills - has to be a good team player.
- Technology skills - not a geek, but someone who’s abreast with developments in the digital world, appreciates & embraces improvements in technology and realizes its impact on various consumption patterns and lifestyles.
Experience:
- At least 3 (upto 6/7) years in hardcore marketing / advertising / media role with decent exposure to market / communication research .
- Advertising / media candidates should’ve handled FMCG / consumer durables/ auto / e-com clients.
- Should have minimum one marketing campaign to boast of.
