Description :

An Entrepreneur in Residence is a future leadership role wherein the candidates would be exposed to multiple business problems across the organization in a relatively amount of time. EIRs would be expected to fix existing issues using process, technology and other means available and feasible, and drive turn key projects to completion. Within 6 months to an year EIRs would be given verticals to handle which can span across sales, operations, PnL management, content, product depending upon the EIRs areas of expertise and interests.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- This is a generalist role which will morph into a specialist role based on your strengths

- In this role, you would be responsible for running end to end projects that can span any vertical such as sales, operations, product, research, ideating new business units, growth etc

- This role's most important skill is in-depth problem solving skills and not giving up.

- You should be great at research, analysis, be strong with numbers, basic business analysis and preparing important reports and gleaning insights from the data.

- You must be solution-oriented and thrive in a fast paced, demanding and ambitious environment. This work demands a self-starter who is motivated to deliver an exceptional experience. There is no No for answer in this role.

- It will require digging into detailed business metrics, identifying root causes/ insights, and picking up hands-on execution to drive projects to closure within expected timelines.

Requirements :

- Ex entrepreneurs preferred.

- Tier 1 school in grad/post-grad is important (IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/FMS/XLRI/ISB etc)

- Working with early stage startups as a founder or core member

- Ex i-bankers and consultants are also preferred, however some startup experience will be an added advantage.

- Preferred experience working with technology products (combination of technology + - product management is highly preferred)

- Has a tremendous sense of ownership.

- Bias for action and ready to get your hands dirty.

- Ability to work across different teams.

- Has the ability to break down big problems into smaller chunks.

- Has analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities.

- Always ready to push the boundaries.
