What is a Business Analyst role?
You will play a pivotal part in organizing, analyzing, and tracking internal initiatives, issues, and opportunities. The Business Analyst role is a generalist, non-IT role. While primarily you will work with the leadership team, you are responsible to collaborate across other departments and members.
What are my responsibilities?
- Management of key corporate level projects and initiatives: Work with management and leadership to monitor and track progress of initiatives and issues.
- Build documentation and content repository for easy tracking of initiatives and issues.
- Collaborate with business units to understand and prioritize company needs and devise possible solutions based on business use cases.
- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of growth opportunity for Ideapoke and present written and thoughtful business recommendations
- Growth Initiatives: Perform research to setup, review, document and validate various growth initiatives and ideas across the organization and various functions.
- Developing business cases to convert ideas into a deliverable solution.
- Documenting and analyzing existing and to-be business processes. Take initiatives to set up processes in the company.
- Facilitating group workshops and meetings and building relationships with all key stakeholders
- Investigating business problems and opportunities using root cause analysis.

What skills and experiences would I bring into this role?
- Bachelors Degree in relevant industry field and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with about 3-5 years of prior experience.
- Problem-solving: Good in problem-solving and ability to bring in new ideas and drive project agenda from scratch
- Some familiarity with key SaaS operating metrics is a bonus.
- Experience working at an agile software company/startup is a bonus
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder: A track record of collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Team player: Knack for influencing without being authoritative. Pitch in wherever the team needs help, from writing blog posts to supporting customers.
