Job Context:
Telecom sector has emerged as one of the fast moving sectors with a stiff market competition wherein revenue is the key differentiator. To achieve revenue targets it is imperative to design and develop the prepaid products that will further help in achieving Prepaid VLR additions and subscriber Net Addition targets as per the market requirement to maintain market competitiveness in the least possible turnaround time.
CHALLENGES:
- To maintain the prepaid products with sustenance of RR and maintaining CMS and RMS of the circle.
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities and Supporting Actions: Write the key results expected from the job and the supporting actions for each of these key result areas (For a majority of jobs typically there could be 4- 7 key result areas)
To achieve the budgeted Gross Revenue as per the target - Develop new product launches as per market requirements
- Ensure appropriate product mix as per targets
- Drive segmented product launches by fully leveraging system features.
- Develop subscriber segmentation on the basis Marketing model for increasing the gross revenue as per the target.
To ensure increase in Prepaid VLR Adds / Postpaid Net Adds to achieve budgeted gross adds
- Prepare geography wise data analysis of inflow / outflow of prepaid base for increasing prepaid VLR Adds and Postpaid Net Adds.
- Launch Prepaid products to induce VLR longetivity at the same time maximizing revenues.
- Plan / MSISDN level analysis of postpaid subscribers to identify the potential / actual reason for churn.
- Analyze & create, configure & launch account specific plans as per the market requirements to retain the customers.
To drive MOU's to achieve the revenue targets - Maintain & track calling pattern as per budget.
- Develop subscriber segmentation on the basis of calling pattern.
- Ensure appropriate product promotion as per segmentation / requirement to drive penetration & mix of the desired products.
- Track payouts for each leg of calling & ensure desired pass through.
Job Purpose of Direct Reports: Describe the job purpose of the direct report/s to the job (in 2-3 lines for each report)
- Product Manager Prepaid UnR - Design offer / promotions to enhance usage as per budgeted Revenues & MOU's. Co-ordinate with RA / IN team to evaluate feasibility of new products & launch the same. Customer life cycle management to drive maximum share of wallet.
- Product Manager Prepaid Acquisition - To drive Customer Market share by launching timely & aggressively priced products for maximizing revenue. Closely work with the sales team to track & drive key sales KPI's. Provide constant data feed & backend support to the sales team on all key parameters.
- Product Manager Postpaid - Track & drive postpaid product portfolio management through Market Analysis & product analysis, Acquisition, Quality of Acquisitions, Retention, Churn, Customer Life Cycle Management, ARPU, & Revenue Management.
