IDBI Federal Life Insurance - Assistant Manager/Manager - Valuation

Technical requirements :

1) Managing the Experience investigation and assist setting assumptions

2) Managing timely submission of AAAR

3) Assisting and/or reviewing the product set up in Renova

4) Managing the reinsurance treaties and liaisoning with the reinsurer

5) Ensuring the correctness of reinsurance premium & claim settlement with the reinsurer

6) Planning the reinsurance related works and ensuring timely completion and submission to regulator

7) Checking the correctness of asset share numbers and the documents related to with profit committee

8) Ensuring the correctness of bonus declaration and resolving the queries of WPC

9) Reviewing the asset share methodology & bonus policy

10) Monitoring model testing and its documentation for asset share calculation purposes

11) Training and guiding subordinates

Required Skills :

1) 5-8 years of relevant experience in actuarial domain

2) Candidate should have at least completed the CT series

3) Ability to work independently and show initiative

4) Ability to exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

5) Managerial skills (ability to manage a team of 2-3 people)

6) Excellent verbal / written communication skills

7) Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams

8) Any Actuarial software knowledge is added advantage like Prophet, Renovaetc
