ICICI Lombard - Statistical Analyst

Business Intelligence function is an important domain for any insurance company.

We invite aspirants wishing to be part of this team for the role requires multitasking and would entail interaction with the senior management team, business, process, technology and other internal stakeholders.

Job Description

- Extraction of data from centralized systems/warehouse and refining the data to suit the needs of the analysis

- Defining an objective for analysis, creating hypothesis, data preparation and modelling, validating the hypothesis

- Development and application of mathematical /statistical/econometric models to achieve the desired objective

- Experience in building predictive models using SAS or any other statistical tool

Requirements/Qualifications:

MStat/MA (Economics)/ MMath or other equivalent degree from reputed institute with a strong conceptual understanding of various statistical concepts like time series analysis, regression, cluster analysis etc. for model building and validation, and hands on experience of SAS.

- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis & statistical modelling

- Ability to use statistical tools specifically SAS efficiently

- Proficient with MS Office – specifically MS Excel & MS Power point

- Ability to determine, recommend and execute the best analysis given the context

- Ability to communicate results of statistical analysis in layman terms
