Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Unit Sales Manager to lead and manage a team of sales representatives in Shimla.
- The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, developing effective sales strategies, and building strong customer relationships.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
- Monitor team performance and take corrective action as needed.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive sales initiatives and campaigns.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
- Identify target markets and develop tailored approaches.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy of the region.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and develop new customer relationships.
Operational Efficiency:
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Manage sales administration and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Optimize sales processes and improve efficiency.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date on insurance products, regulations, and industry trends.
- Understand the local market dynamics and competitive landscape.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing sales strategies, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience managing a sales team is essential.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Sound knowledge of insurance products and regulations.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
