Business Analyst Role within BIU

Requirements/Qualifications: MBA from premier institutes like IIM, XLRI, FMS, JBIMS etc, with specialization in
operations research, quantitative methods in marketing or finance

- At least 2 years of experience within or outside ICICI Lombard product or business functions, with exposure to product management

- Strong problem solving skills with ability to understand user requirements and translate them into analytical projects including defining hypothesis

- Ability to bridge the gap between analytics and business communications

- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

- Ability to use MS Office specifically MS Excel & MS Power point, MS Access a plus

Job Description

- Responsible for capturing, consolidating and creating / validating business requirements for various analytical projects involving product management, customer lifecycle management, etc.

- Understand business processes, link business data with data captured during business processes and create conceptual/logical data models

- Lead and support strategic business initiatives focused on business intelligence and analytics

- Translate outcomes from statistical models into business solutions which can be applied on the ground

- Continue dialogue with the business users to monitor effectiveness of implementation and provide feedback for improved model building

- Identify fresh areas for implementation of strategic analytics and convince the prospect of its utility
