Assistant Relationship Manager Corporate Banking
Job Purpose :
- The candidate would be part of the team responsible for managing and growing the existing corporate portfolio of ICICI Bank UK
- Managing existing client portfolio through day-to-day interactions with internal teams, existing/new corporate clients, banks and other intermediaries; growing the portfolio by scanning for business opportunities in interactions with various stakeholders and internal/external contacts
- To enhance business revenue through focused opportunity identification and development in partnership with product management, credit risk control and operations
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare credit appraisal notes for Corporates within specified turnaround time (TAT). This shall involve the following:
- Detailed financial analysis of the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss accounts and Cash flows of the Corporate
- Detailed due diligence of the business model and future projections; industry and market research and analysis
- Scanning secondary research reports (including external rating rationales, equity reports etc)
- Where possible, interaction with client companies, their competitors, industry experts and other banks to understand the business and financial profile of the corporates and finalise terms of sanction
- Complete due diligence and internal risk clearance. Present proposals to Bank's credit committees for approvals
- Ensure any post sanction documentation and formalities are completed within defined timelines
- Provide complete support for onboarding of new clients; account opening; ensure completion and updation of KYC formalities in a timely manner
- Regular monitoring of existing clients by preparing and presenting asset reviews, monitoring covenants, KPIs etc and take care of any deficiencies (documentation or otherwise) within the existing portfolio, in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain detailed account plan on all relationships handled
- Liaise with internal and external parties to complete syndication, sell down or prepayment of loans identified/received by the Bank
- Ensure compliance in all areas of operations
- Identify, analyse and highlight potential opportunities in new and existing clients to the Bank's management. Once approved, action on the same and implement
- Ensure quality standards in services offered to the client by the Bank's operations and product teams, in the context of the Bank's prevailing monitoring systems, operations and risk policy
- Undertake projects and assignment from time to time as directed by the supervisor/senior management
