Global Offering Manager & Delivery Leader position
Job description of Global OM&D Leader (Portfolio Manager)
We are looking for a strong business leader who can take ownership of this opportunity through the offering and Product lifecycle.
This position would be responsible for the following :
SME On Service Line Future :
- Understand market demands & trends working with clients, sellers, delivery & IBM Consultants to make the strategy relevant to IBM's client base and to create solutions with superior value to the competition.
- Research market direction engaging with external resources such as consultants, analysts, and technology partners to broaden perspective.
- Study IBM Corporate Strategy, R&D breakthroughs, and other IBM Unit strategies to select best of breed that can apply, ensure synergy in the strategy, and leverage IP/assets
- Identify via Market Intelligence the GMV Market Growth rates (GMV) and analyze share as input to the Portfolio Strategy; Publish field bulletins on competitive moves
Invent/ Maintain A Service Line Portfolio Strategy :
- Establish and communicate an innovative Service Line Strategy and Roadmap for Portfolio/Offering Management to follow and for the IOT's to comprehend
- Drive the identification of Portfolio/Offering gaps; taking action to address
- Identify risks and opportunities in the marketplace and provide recommendations that can be executed
- Ensure there are strong value propositions, strong barriers to entry, and strong ROI recommending Portfolio/Offering adjustments to the Portfolio/Offering Leads that improve results
- Pioneer select initiatives that improve competitiveness across the Service Line
- Set the overall Alliance strategy and influence the direction of Technical Alliances
- Analyze, identify, and recommend M&A targets. Lead Deal evaluations, working with Corporate Development.
- Lead for the Service Line in the Spring and Fall plan with the Infrastructure Strategy and Transformation Executive
Communicate Service Line Leadership Externally :
- Be the overall champion / thought leader for the service line; demonstrate credibility externally with clients, at conferences, with analysts and in social media; publish white papers
- Work with Marketing to create a positive brand image
- Exceed signings, revenue, and profit for each segment of the Portfolio
- Growth in Service Line market share
- Mindshare gain (ex Analysts) and improved reputation of Service Line as leading edge
- Demonstrated teamwork with the LoB and the IOT's. .
Required :
- Master's Degree in Business/Management
- At least 5+ years experience in Cloud Solutions and Use Case Knowledge
- At least 12+ years experience in Information Technology
- At least 3+ years experience in Product / Offering Management or Development
- English : Fluent
- Excellent presentation skill
Preferred :
- At least 5+ years experience in Partner / Vendor ecosystem management
- At least 10 years experience in Information Technology
- At least 6+ years experience in Product / Offering Management or Development
