About our Client - Our client is a leading global private equity fund with over $10 billion in capital and on average, investing in over 8 companies per year. In India, their investments range across sectors like financial services, consumer, healthcare, and technology. Our client has a clear commitment on India and in this aspect are looking to grow their team by hiring an Associate.

Job Description - As an Associate in the fund, you will be responsible for:

- Researching investment ideas

- Sourcing deals for the fund to invest in

- Executing investments and playing a leading role in the due diligence, term sheet negotiation and final investment

- Working closely with promoters to demonstrate a value addition

The Successful Candidate - You will have a Masters in Finance or an MBA from a Tier I School (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, IIM, ISB). You will have between 4-6 of total work experience with at least 1-2 years of experience on the Buy Side. You should have been a part of at least 4-5 investments and have played a leading role in each of these. You will have in depth knowledge of a few sectors and be able to articulate your thoughts clearly on those sectors. You possess outstanding communication skills and are a go-getter.
