- Understanding of business for effective application of analytics

- Developing and implementing data management and prepare data for analysis

- Conduct modeling and generate insights

- Implement the finding and develop a product for implementation of a recommendation

- Very good problem-solving skills and communication skills

- Ability to work in teams

- Aptitude & openness to understand technology solution

- Experience in mathematical modeling (statistical modeling exposure will be a plus)

- Willing to travel onsite

- Experience in regression modeling techniques, segmentation/CHAID, multivariate analysis, cluster analysis etc. is a plus

- Sound knowledge of one or more analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, SPSS

- Industry experience in BFSI, insurance, fraud, marketing analytics, credit risk is a plus though not necessary
