SEO Manager


Job Overview:


As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, drive traffic, and improve overall website performance.

You will lead a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, development, and marketing), and ensure that our website is optimized for search engines and meets both user and business needs.


Key Responsibilities:


SEO Strategy Development:


- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve the website's organic search rankings and drive quality traffic.

- Ensure alignment with overall marketing goals and business objectives.

On-Page and Technical SEO:


- Optimize website content, structure, and metadata to enhance search engine rankings.

- Lead technical SEO efforts, including website audits, site speed optimization, URL structure, internal linking, and mobile optimization.

Keyword Research & Content Strategy:


- Conduct extensive keyword research to identify high-value search terms and develop a content strategy to target them effectively.

- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content and ensure content optimization across all platforms.

Link Building & Off-Page SEO:


- Develop and implement a white-hat link-building strategy to acquire high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.

- Manage external partnerships and opportunities to increase off-page SEO efforts.

SEO Analytics & Reporting:


- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

- Track key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and other KPIs.

- Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.

Competitor Analysis:


- Conduct competitor SEO analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement.

- Stay up-to-date with SEO industry changes and search engine algorithms to ensure best practices are implemented.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with the development, content, and social media teams to ensure all digital assets are optimized for search engines.

- Educate and support other departments on SEO best practices.

SEO Audits and Troubleshooting:


- Regularly perform SEO audits to identify issues that may hinder the sites performance.

- Resolve technical SEO issues and ensure timely implementation of improvements.

Stay Current with SEO Trends:


- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.


Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors/Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.

- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.

- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

- Solid experience with website analytics, SEO reporting, and performance metrics.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website technical aspects (basic coding skills are a plus).

- Proven experience with keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify.

- Strong understanding of Googles Webmaster Guidelines and best practices for white-hat SEO.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO topics to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
