Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Deputy Manager with 4+ years of experience and an MBA in HR to manage statutory compliance and payroll operations. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory regulations, and payroll accuracy, contributing to the smooth functioning of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Process monthly payroll, including salary calculation, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate employee records related to payroll, attendance, and leaves.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for payroll processing and tax.
Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, and Professional Tax.
- Handle statutory filings, inspections, and audits related to HR compliance.
- Maintain and update records of statutory remittances and liaise with government authorities when required.
- Stay updated with labor law amendments and ensure timely implementation.
Employee Records & Documentation:
- Maintain employee master data, offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documents.
- Assist in drafting HR policies related to compliance and payroll.
- Handle full and final settlements for exiting employees.
HR Support & Coordination:
- Assist in HR audits and internal compliance checks.
- Provide support in HR operations like onboarding, exit formalities, and grievance handling.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, tax deductions, and compliance matters.
Requirements:
- MBA in HR (or equivalent specialization in HR).
- 4-7 years of experience in HR statutory compliance and payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
