Job Description:
Role Overview:
- The HR Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with labour laws, manage payroll and MIS metrics, and foster employee engagement.
- The ideal candidate has a strong HR operations background and a passion for a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy.
MIS Metrics:
- Maintain HR metrics and dashboards.
- HR data for trends and insights.
- Present HR reports to senior management.
Payroll Management:
- Oversee payroll processing for timely, accurate salary payments.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Resolve payroll-related inquiries.
Employee Engagement/Grievances:
- Implement engagement initiatives.
- Organize engagement activities and events.
- Conduct employee surveys to improve practices.
- Conduct sessions to take up employee grievances.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage compliance activities, including audits.
- Implement compliance training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or HR certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
