We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Cochin, Kerala. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies, policies, and programs that support our organization's growth and foster a positive work environment. You will play a key role in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with organizational goals and best practices.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all departments.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the organization.
- Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee development and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management processes.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with market standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Lead talent development initiatives, including training, development, and career planning.
- Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
- Provide strategic HR guidance and support to leadership on all HR-related matters.
- Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Implement and manage HRIS and other HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and security.
- Foster a positive company culture and promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Address employee relations issues and provide conflict resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior HR role within the IT/tech sector.
- Proven experience managing HR in organizations with 100+ employees and a dedicated HR team of 2 or more.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology solutions.
- HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
- Masters degree in HR or Business Administration is preferred.
