This is a full generalist role requiring a range of skills in Human Resources. The successful candidate will have at least five years of broad-based experience in all or most of the functional areas of Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
Position will administratively report to - Finance Manager- initially and will work very closely with department heads and Managing Director of the company. Based on company's growth and incumbent's performance, position has potential to reach - Department Head - HR- level in next 3-4 years.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Collaboration with local management team to support the following functions
- Talent Management and workforce planning
- Onboarding / Offboarding
- Employee Development: Skills assessment, training, and performance evaluations
- Employee Relations and Investigations
- Progressive Discipline
- Employee communications
- Employee Training on HR related topics
- Labour law compliance management
- Data entry into HRIS, Time & Labor, and Payroll System
- HR information systems: data collection, reporting, and analysis
Compliance: benefits, and all applicable laws
Limited recruiting and oversight of temporary agency recruiting efforts
Requirements:
BBA / MBA in Human Resources or other relevant degree. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (Fluency in Marathi is a plus).
Confidence to make recommendations, "think outside the box," and show persistence when met with a challenge
Ability to :
- Independently manage their time and tasks
- Juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Remain steadfast with your recommendations based on common HR practices
