Position Summary :

- The Human Resources Leader is a key managerial role. Personally, and through leading direct report, the Human Resources Leader is responsible for all facets of human resources activities such as employment, strategic planning, policy formulation, compensation, development, labor relations, benefits, safety, and employee services.

- This position provides a strategic leadership role in coordinating activities across the various functional and product focused areas to assure that the facility's objectives are met, as well as those of the individual business segments.

Position Responsibilities :

- Provides coaching and advice to facility staff members and managers regarding organizational development needs.

- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.

- Oversees research of local market rates for positions to assess relationship to organization compensation plan, determining if and where pay adjustments should be made.

- Develops human resources budget.

- Administers Performance Management Program to ensure goals and competency plans have been aligned with the organization's goals.

- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

- Keep records of benefits plan participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.

- Analyzes trends in turnover, hiring, promotions and separations to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.

- Directs organizational leadership review process to determine strategic workforce planning and recruitment needs.

- Recruitment of experienced professionals, recent graduates and production employees in various managerial and technical positions.

- Serves as advisor and corporate liaison for employee relations and employment law issues.

- Supports and initiates location-specific activities to reduce safety concerns and improve employee relations on an on-going basis.

Experience and Skills Required :

- Min 15+ years of Human Resources experience

Education Standard : Bachelor's Degree

Education Type : Human Resources or equivalent preferred

- Must have a demonstrated track record of driving strong employee engagement

- Formal Training in Change Management preferred

- Green Belt / Black Belt certification desired

- Industrial experience in a multi-shift location desired
