Position Summary
Primary responsibility is to deliver analytics projects in the human capital and organization effectiveness area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop statistical models to support marketing efforts and delivery of HR analytics offerings and solutions.
- Develop statistical testing programs to measure and improve on-going performance of the health of the organization and the human resource function as a whole.
- Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis and so on
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience in analytics and reporting
- BE from good Engineering colleges or Masters degree in Statistics/Econometrics or Quantitative sciences or B.Statistics/Econometrics + MBA
- Strong ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets
- Should have done forecasting/modeling, data analysis, used regression/optimization models and techniques.
- Must have exposure to SAS, SPSS or R
- Should have good analytics experience and consulting experience/basic understanding of business problems and suggesting solutions
- Good communication skills
- Open to extensive travel (3-6 months at a stretch)
- Non-KPO project experience would be an added advantage
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SAS, SPSS or similar packages like R
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong SQL Skills
- Ability to understand various RDBMS and the capability to extract data as needed.
