Manager- Technical Training (Human Resources) - Khopoli

Job title: Manager- Technical Training

Work Location: Khopoli (plant location/ Operates 6 days a week)

Division/Department: Human Resources

Reports to: Head - Talent Management & Talent Acquisition

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support to employees in the areas of professional development, innovation, performance improvement and knowledge management

- Competency mapping of roles in operations.

- Conducting Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the institution, identifying current and future developmental needs at the individual level, and capacity building requirements at the institutional level.

- Design new training tools, flexible methods and toolkits, develop new learning systems and trainings which can be used in the field and create/review training curricula for manufacturing and corporate teams.

- Draw up a comprehensive plan based on the developmental needs and methods identified from competency mapping

- Create a community of practice to support internal training professionals and support existing communities

- Refining existing Trainings, and setting up new processes as required, including preparing and tracking the annual L&D report, Budget; creating and updating the Training Calendar; tracking training attendance; capturing feedback on training programs as well as conferences and workshops attended

- Digitalization of existing training programmes and co-creation of new programmes

- Training by closely collaborating with HR partners. Assist to analyze performance issues through needs assessment, and design appropriate training solutions

- Skill building of operations, supervisors and team leaders

- Familiarity with TPM Pillars is key for the role

- Promote wide-scale, consistent use of established training evaluation methods including Kirkpatrick-based evaluation

- Document training efforts and support the reporting of training initiatives

- Monitoring and evaluation of both structured and informal methods used, making continuous improvements in the approach, process, and methods as appropriate.

- Maintaining a keen understanding of learning & development trends, developments, and best practices

- Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

- Education: MBA

- Work Experience: 8-10 Yrs. Experience of manufacturing mandatory, previous work experience with upliftment of shop-floor employees and developing their competencies

Technical / Functional Competencies: -

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong presentation skills

- Competency skill mapping

- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.

- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods

- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices

- Experience in project management and budgeting

- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen

- Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
