The Role:  Based out of Delhi, this is a key Digital Marketing role with one of the largest and most admired media brands in the country.  The Marketing activities of the brand include creating an engaging product, communicating the benefits of the product to current and potential users, bringing alive the brand proposition through strong user engagements, and building a strong relationship with the advertiser community.  Job Responsibilities:  The incumbent will be responsible for some key aspects of managing the product - the digital presence of prominent national daily news brands.  Key Result Areas:  - Working on new products: Execution of the plans currently in the pipeline as well as the conceptualization of new products.  - Managing an existing product, and supporting the overall product portfolio, from all aspects of consumer research and insight generation.  - Understanding the target user and brand priorities to help develop a product.  - Supporting revenue-generation by creating properties around which relevant advertisers can be brought on board.  Experience and Qualifications:  - MBA from a premier b-school  - 4 to 8 years of work experience in the Marketing function of an FMCG/ telecom/ media company  - Keen interest in news and media products as well as appreciation for the written word is essential  - Ideally 2-5 years of experience in handling digital media products would be a very strong advantage  Expectations:  - The candidate will be expected to have a strong interest in and understanding of how a digital media product is developed.  - (S)he will need to work closely with other functions within the company and to manage non-reporting relationships with maturity. A high degree of interpersonal skills is desired.  - Attention to detail, pre-planning and smooth project management skills are pre-requisites.  - Depending on experience and performance of the candidate, (s)he would be expected to quickly take on a significantly greater role in product management within a relatively short period of time.
