Position : Manager/Sr. Manager Digital Ad Sales - 90min.in
Reporting To : Regional Head - Digital Ad Sales
Location : Gurgaon
Responsibilities :
- Has experience in selling all kinds of digital inventory, be it banner ads or sponsored/branded content
- Has deep relationships and contacts with agencies and brands, preferably with ones associated with Sports.
- Achievement of assigned targets within the specified time frame & yield improvements over last year
- New Business Development. Develop new corporate, agency, and third-party relationships that lead to new and existing sponsorships.
- Develop effective sales strategies and plans to approach, engage and close new sponsorships, renewals and corporate hospitality sales.
- Generate compelling sales presentations, including video components, and engagement experiences for prospects.
- Analyze and utilize GA, Comscore and other research resources.
- Key client management - Conceptualization & execution of out-of-the-box sales ideas / deals while working closely with the sales strategy team.
- Is self-motivated and results-oriented
- Can create and manage the sales cycle from scratch
- Can work in a fast-paced environment of a startup, understands the digital publishing domain and is willing to take up new responsibilities
- Enter all sales contracts into Salesforce and forward approved copies to new and renewal clients within the established deadlines.
- Generate the internal sales reports and validate the data to ensure that all sales are captured accurately.
Qualifications :
Preferred Qualification : Bachelor's degree/PG in Business or related field.
- Total of about 5-8 years of experience in digital sales with an emphasis on sales and/or sponsor activation, including a network of current corporate and agency contacts.
- Strong knowledge of digital ecosystem will be an added advantage
- Understanding of sports sponsorship; use of research, data and analytics; familiarity with soccer is a plus.
Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 5 years of experience and proven track record in sponsorship sales and partnership development is required.
- Experience of working in the international sport business development environment, developed negotiation skills in high value partnership deals and ability to manage negotiation process.
- Demonstrable experience of identifying and securing high value brand sponsorships. Ability to drive and achieve sales targets.
