HSE Manager - Manufacturing Industry

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, Implement, and Maintain HSE Management Systems: Create systems aligned with regulations and company standards.

- Conduct Inspections and Audits: Regularly assess hazards, risks, and implement corrective actions.

- Lead Safety Training: Train employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure compliance and awareness.

- Investigate Incidents: Analyze accidents, near misses, and incidents, and develop prevention strategies.

- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Integrate safety and environmental considerations into processes and equipment design.

- Manage Hazardous Materials: Handle, store, and dispose of hazardous materials following regulations.

- Develop Environmental Initiatives: Monitor environmental metrics and develop initiatives to reduce impact.

- Maintain Documentation: Keep records of HSE activities, incidents, inspections, and training.

- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.

- Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Handle inquiries, concerns, and liaise with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, advanced degree or certifications preferred.

- Experience: 14+ years in HSE management within manufacturing.

- Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation.

- Skills: Leadership, communication, project management, proficiency in relevant software.

- Adaptability: Ability to work independently, make decisions, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

- Commitment: Dedication to promoting a positive safety culture and healthy work environment.
