About the Role:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive US HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless experience from offer acceptance to their first day and beyond. You will also play a key role in assisting with visa and immigration processes, ensuring strict compliance with U.S. laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


Pre-Onboarding (Before the First Day):


- Draft and send offer letters, employment agreements, and legal documents including non-compete and confidentiality agreements.


- Prepare pre-employment paperwork such as tax forms (W-4), direct deposit setup, benefits enrollment, I-9 verification, and background check consent.


- Send welcome communications to new hires, providing essential first-day information and company resources.


Onboarding (First Day):


- Conduct company orientation, introducing new hires to the organization's mission, values, culture, and structure.


- Ensure timely completion of HR paperwork, including tax and compliance documentation, via the HRMS or in-person.


- Provide a comprehensive overview of employee benefits, including healthcare, 401(k), paid time off (PTO), and other company perks.


Visa and Immigration Support:


- Advise employees on suitable U.S. visa options, including work visas, family-based visas, student visas, and more.


- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and required documentation (e.g., Forms I-130, I-140, I-485).


- Ensure all immigration processes meet compliance standards and are filed in accordance with U.S. laws and regulations.


- Stay current on updates to immigration laws, policies, and procedures, and implement them as needed.


Required Qualifications:


MBA (Human Resources preferred).


Must-Have Skills:


- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance standards.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


- Proficient in JobDiva and MSP systems (Fieldglass, Beeline, etc.).


- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
