About our Client: Our client is amongst the largest global pharmaceutical companies specializing in animal health. With a strong presence globally and a strong presence in the India market, they are looking for an HR and Operations Head for their R&D facility in Mumbai.

Job Description: Reporting into the Director for the site, your responsibilities will include:

- Leadership of the R&D site operations team

- Management of contract services deployed to run the site services

- Maintaining site regulatory compliance and adherence to practices required under Maharashtra Industrial Factory Act, Labor Law, and Environmental Health and Safety which may require maintaining strong interaction with local civic and regulatory organizations

- Key customer interaction with the Pharma Sciences organization and support functions (procurement, vendor management, finance, legal and Human Resources)

- Ensure the facility is operated and maintained cost effectively to the highest possible standards and superior levels of customer service

- Supervise/work with a combination of colleagues and contract personnel to achieve desired level of services.

- Develop and manage site resource requirements, budget and operating plan

- Oversee strategies for security and safety of site occupants working with facility staff and EHS Implements system improvements to increase productivity.

The Successful Candidate:

- You will come with 12+ years of experience with exposure to managing site operations including contractual labor.

- Previous work experience in a manufacturing set up is essential and exposure with a pharma organization is desirable.

- Ability to communicate broad strategy and policy guidance to customers, stakeholders, and subordinates is required.

- Motivate personnel, maintain high level of employee morale, and foster a harmonious work environment ensuring that career development plans and training opportunities are available for all employees.

- Analyze business unit drivers and available data in terms of how they impact facilities and facilities needs.
