- A US-based midsize IT Services organization is looking for an Organization Development Manager to lead the people charter of one of its largest business unit.

- This company is 30 years old, on a very fast growth path, privately held, stable, profitable and highly respected in the industry for its business practices. Company details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.

About the Role:

The Organization Development Manager is responsible for defining and implementing key organizational practices of a growing and global IT Services organization. The role holder will work very closely with business to understand organizational and talent challenges. Further, the incumbent will be required to deploy multiple mix of HR and management levers (such as policy making, process improvements, conceptualizing programs and practices, talent management system and tools, engagement interventions, talent branding communications etc.) to solve business problems. The best-fit individual is expected to be passionate about delivering business outcomes by developing unique HR best practices.

The Organization Development Manager will report into the Head - Organization Development and will serve as a true business partner stewarding a differentiated organization development strategy.

Target Profile : 

- Deep expertise in organization development with some experience of directly consulting internal/external clients. The individual must have the ability to consult, influence and partner with senior leaders in developing/executing HR strategies (systems, programs, policies, practices) to drive business performance and have demonstrated relationship management skills at all levels of the organization. Experience of working in talent management, L&D, OD roles in leading Technology organizations will be preferred.

- Experienced in defining processes, developing programs and implementing engagement interventions. The best-fit individual is expected to be passionate about delivering business outcomes utilizing best HR practices.

- Prior experience with growing a strong HR functional team would be beneficial. The individual would have successfully managed and influenced in a matrix, cross-cultural environment.

Location: The Organization Development Manager position will be based out of Delhi-NCR. Currently, everyone is in a remote/W-f-H mode of working since more than a year. The organization is also exploring opening remote satellite offices across the country.

Role Requirements : 

The role holder will work very closely with business heads to understand organizational and talent challenges. Majority of the work will span across projects related to the below:

- Organization Effectiveness

- Develop HR processes aligned with business requirements and with a focus on end user productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.

- Formulate policies that are based on business insights and are user friendly.

- Identify and coordinate implementation of systems aligned to HR and business requirements.

- Conceptualize and implement programs across talent lifecycle to enhance engagement and retention.

 Talent Management :

- Devise and implement talent management strategy and process with a focus on outcomes. Develop talent review mechanisms and implement related interventions.

- Conceptualize development programs.

 Employee Engagement:

- Develop an organization wide engagement framework. Develop and drive implementation of related programs.

- Design and oversee implementation of Rewards and Recognition programs and organization wide engagement initiatives framework.

Performance Enhancement :

- Partner with business for developing - Goals- based scorecards, cascading of goals and implementing continuous feedback mechanisms.

- Review and monitor half yearly and annual performance review and feedback processes.

- Drive the promotion cycle activities to complete the process on time.

 Change Management:

Lead HR change management projects to influence organizational culture. Implement change programs as per business requirements.

- Hands-on business problem solver with capability to design and implement solutions.

- Excellent interpersonal skills - High level of proficiency in networking & influencing stakeholders internally and externally. Possesses excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work closely with business leaders by understanding their needs and designing and rolling out HR solutions.

- Excellent team building skills and orientation for developing high quality talent within the organization. Able to work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.

- Mature, proactive and displays initiative. Manages own and others time well. Able to work under pressure.

- Ability to multitask and pursue stretch goals will allow the individual to successfully deliver in this role. High energy, positive demeanor and ability to think on their feet would work in the favor of successful candidates.

- Role holder is required to demonstrate emotional intelligence, passion, flexibility and adaptability in response to business pressures and people challenges.

Screening Requirements:

- Minimum 4+ years of industry experience in organization development roles, preferably in IT services or professional services organizations

- Post graduate degree in management from premier institutes/Top B schools. An MBA (preferably in HR) degree from a good B-School is desirable

- A good mix of education and experience will be useful. Deep knowledge of HR and consulting skills are a prerequisite.

- Strong understanding of organization development, capability development, engagement, compensation & benefits, performance management and talent management practices

- Technology industry experience &/ Consulting experience is essential

- Excellent consulting, coaching, communication and facilitation skills.

- Proven experience of working in close coordination with executive level leadership.

- Demonstrated ability to manage organizational change utilizing a full spectrum of change methods.

- Proven ability to develop HR staff and lead teams in a matrix environment.

Travel Requirements:

- Minimal, only as per business requirements

Compensation :

- CTC will be aligned to market and commensurate with candidate's skills and experience.

Selection Process:

- The selection process will comprise of 2-3 rounds of discussions in a short span of time. It may also include undertaking leadership and personality assessment tools
