Salary range: 15 - 20 LPA
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Head the Industrial Relations & Employee Relations vertical and responsible for evolving IR strategies across all Units (Daman, Surangi and Dadra) in line with best practices.
- Identify specific Unit issues catering to (employee needs) & work with CMD/Directors/HODs to plan, develop and implement solutions.
- Act as a point of contact for review and approval of HR policies and compliance with local labour laws.
- Formulate corporate policies for different employee categories from time to time as applicable in the Units in line with labour laws and ensure its effective and timely implementation.
- Formulate and act as a custodian of important policies & processes - like Wage Agreements, Salary Administration process, Disciplinary Issues, Employee Grievance, Code of Conduct and Sexual Harassment at the work floor and beyond for graded employees of the Company, Contractors- and third party and Off Roll members
- Advice Higher and Corporate Management across functions on HR Legal matters related to Employment Laws, Interpretations of Certified Standing Order, Disciplinary matters and Statutory Obligations.

- Formulate and administer labour relations policy, subject to top management guidance and approval.
- Supervise and Control overall activities of- Workman Manpower planning, maintain high security deployment and monitoring and Canteen management.
- Proactively address emerging issues by continuous negotiation/dialogue with Contract Labourer and important influencers among employees as well as environment / external stakeholders.
- Address ongoing issues/disputes and legal matters with to ensure nil loss of man-days due to labour unrest and effectively leverage welfare and other proactive interventions such as Training for maintaining cordial IR atmosphere.
- Oversee Contract Labour Management with respect to absenteeism analysis and its remedial action, multitasking and skill Development of workmen, attrition and its causes and action plan to reduce attrition etc.
- Manage the disciplinary proceedings in tune with the Certified / Model Standing Orders
- Act as a Custodian of all documents pertaining to labour law related in house cases and assisting external consultants / Advocate in representing at the Court of Law / Labour Tribunals.
- Monitor recruitment of graded staff, Contractors- and third party, Off Roll members as required.
- Manage the Rewards and Recognition process for graded staff, Contractors- and third party, Off Roll member.
- Ensure submission of statutory return under various Labour Laws and rules framed there under.
- Ensure implementation of Various Welfare Schemes in consultation with the management and develop a budget for welfare programmes
- Educate workmen on advanced technology, change in the process for better productivity and safe practices.
- Liaison with labour Officers, factory Inspectors or any other bodies (Villagers / politicians) related to labour
- Interact with community leader/opinion makers, for maintaining peace in and around Factory.
- Liaison with various state and central government officials to maintain good relations with them.
