About our Client - Our client is a multi billion dollar global leader in the Fashion Retail Space. With active growth plans in India, they are looking for an HR Generalist to manage pan India responsibility.
Job Description - Reporting into the Head HR, you will be responsible for both, stores and corporate.
Responsibilities of the role as follows :
- Responsible for talent acquisition across all verticals and varied functions in the organization ensuring quality hiring in line with the needs of the business.
- Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.
- Preparing and Implementing a functional induction plan for new recruits in head office and at store level.
- Conceptualize and drive timely implementation of performance management processes across business & proactively support the respective business teams in ensuring quality of Goal Setting and Annual Review processes.
- Implement HR policies, practices, and procedures, and ensure compliance with legal laws and/or regulations as regards recruitment
- Drive & design competitive compensation & benefits practices in line with business goals by conducting periodic pay surveys.
- Design, evaluate and modify benefits/ reward policies to ensure that policies are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirement and educate employees
- Conceptualizing & Conducting various employee engagement activities across zone and at head office -Serve as a resource for team leaders in handling employee issues and assist them in counseling employees, conducting evaluations, problem-solving and consensus-building.
- Work closely with Store operations team in facilitating execution of specific HR interventions and providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management.
- Compile statistical monthly reports and maintain records concerning personnel data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, absenteeism rates, attrition, and leave balance etc.
The Successful Candidate :
- You will come with 8-12 years of experience as an HR Generalist from the Fashion / Food retail sector.
- Exposure to working in a multi location environment is key for this role. Extensive travel is expected as a part of this role.
