Position: HR Manager
Reporting: Partner
Location: Dadar, Mumbai
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Administration and coordination of all new employee orientation
- Advises on hiring decisions in accordance with policies and requirements that have been established
- Assist with payroll and benefit administration as required
- Assists practice management to determine recruitment needs
- Assists office with voluntary resignations/terminations, including provision of appropriate employment legislation related to terminations; preparation of appropriate documentation; overseeing update of HR systems/payroll, exit interviews, etc.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the various business units within the office
- Communicates with Human Resources Director on a timely basis regarding ongoing HR issues
- Counsels staff and managers on issues as required
- Ensure HR policies are communicated and signed
- Investigate issues/complaints and implement corrective action in accordance with policies/legal requirements
- Follow up on payroll concerns
- Manage leaves, vacations, sick leave, and maternity leave
- Manages annual evaluations including coaching partners and managers on performance management issues
- Oversee compensation process for office
- Oversee probationary review process
- Responsible for various levels of recruitment
- Works to improve morale, productivity, limit job turnover, boost employee satisfaction with their jobs and overall working conditions
