Essential Functions:

- Assess the current levels of delivery and identify future needs for the various HR functional areas including compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent management, training and development, staffing, communications, employee engagement and organization culture.

- Make recommendations and implement changes to process and practices to improve the quality of HR functions leading to increased engagement and organization effectiveness.

- Employee Relations - Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on a wide range of issues including performance management, employee performance improvement plans, company's disciplinary process, employee relations,local and national policies and laws, and compliance with company's policies.Assess, investigate, and mediate complex issues, and document progress and resolution.Prepare documentation for terminations, final settlement, severance checks, separation agreements and releases, and other materials required for employment termination. Ensure HR files are maintained in an audit-ready manner.

- Learning and Development - Partner with Learning and Development to plan, develop and deliver seminars and training and other training initiatives. Support talent management initiatives including succession planning and talent reviews, career development initiatives, leadership development, etc.

- Staffing and Workforce Management - Implement the staffing process including job posting requisition, sourcing of candidates, interviewing, selection, on boarding and advising managers and employees on systems. Generate metrics and reports as appropriate.

- Compensation - Manage and administer compensation programs, job evaluations,reorganizations,and use of HR systems. Assure that local compensation practices are competitive.

- Benefits - Implement benefits programs and wellness initiatives in compliance with company's and company's policies and practices, as well as Union and Karnataka state legal requirements.

- Participate / lead various project teams and task forces to achieve HR objectives.

- Implement and administer the programs, policies and procedures related to specific workers compensation and unemployment, leaves of absence and other company policies. Keep abreast of relevant local and international employment laws to ensure compliance with union and state legal requirements and policies and practices.

- Participate in monthly HR staff meetings via phone and/or web conferencing.

- Travel to other locations periodically as well as travel to the US headquarters as required.

- Partner with the New Jersey-based HR regarding delivery of various HR functional areas.

- Complete other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications strongly preferred.

- Minimum 6-8 years ofprogressively responsible generalist experience in the delivery of human resources services and the administration of human resources programs, including but not limited to total rewards, employee relations, training and development, staffing, regulatory compliance, and professional development.

- Knowledge of Karnataka state andIndiaemployment laws and regulations.

Skills & Other Requirements:

- Diplomacy, professionalism,emotional maturity, and strict respect for confidentiality.

- Professionalism in responding to employee relations issues within legal and regulatory constraints.

- Excellent relationships with business clients and other internal/external customers.

- Current knowledge of human resources issues and well-versed in labor and employment law.Must be fluent in English, and at least 1-2 local and national languages (e.g. Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, etc.) of global offices supported with ability to speak with appropriate grammar and syntax.

- Excellent presentation skills anddelivery of training programs.

- Effective writing skills and the ability to draft and recommend changes in policies and processes,as well as prepare communications on a variety of issues in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.

- Technological savvy with HR systems including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Taleo,Gmail, Google Apps, Internet, and other systems.

- Domestic and international travel required, up to 25%.
