Job Summary:
Are you a passionate HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting our employees' success and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
You'll wear many hats, from managing the recruitment process to overseeing employee relations and benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Ensure all HR processes comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage the HR information system (HRIS).
- Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on a wide range of HR-related issues, such as leave requests, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's /masters degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, ADA).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in HR software and tools (e. g., HRIS, applicant tracking systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
