- 6-12 yrs of exp from premium institution
- Looking at candidates who are currently b/w 25-35 LPA
- Mix of factory and corporate function would be advantage
Job Description :
Individual in this role will be responsible for managing entire gamut of HR Compliances for India Corporate sites,reporting to the Country HR Leader. This will include working closely with various HR and Business Leaders in India as well as Seattle. He/ she will need to demonstrate strong knowledge of HR Laws as well as practical application on the ground.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for labour law compliances for all India Corporate sites / offices
- Liaison with Legal Team, External Consultant and with government authorities to ensure timely compliance under various laws as applicable for respective site/s
- Responsible for ensuring guidance to Management in case of change in Country / State labour law and according change in policies as well as practices
- Point of contact for any guidance to all functions related to policies and practices from Country / State labour law perspective
- Own management and employee communication on any law and order situation in any center. Manage dawn raids / labour inspection for all centers in India
- Design, implement and maintain framework of tracking and auditing compliance and its Vendors
- Liaise with Business Managers, Facility Team, Finance, HRMs, HRBPs for any requirements to ensure compliance at all times
- Proactively engage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure practices are compliant to Country / State law requirements and policies
- Proactively engage with Business Leaders / Managers in their Business Expansion Plans and ensure HR Compliance Agenda is incorporated in the plan and compliant to the respective state legal requirements
Basic Qualifications :
- 8- 15 years- experience in the areas of HR, Employee Relations and HR Compliances
- Post graduate degree in HR or Law
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on approach
- Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions independently
Preferred Qualification :
- Experience of managing Labour law compliances in large Multinational Organization with presence across multiple states in India
- Experience of managing Labour Law compliances in more than one domains / industries
