HR Business Partner


- We are seeking a skilled and proactive Workforce Management Specialist to join our logistics company.


- In this role, you will oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and resource optimization for both blue-collar and white-collar employees, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.


- Your work will play a critical role in maintaining productivity through predictive strategies and analytical insights, meeting business goals, and supporting employee engagement across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Workforce Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation, balancing workloads for both operational staff (e.g., drivers, warehouse workers) and office teams.

- Scheduling & Rostering: Create and manage employee schedules, considering business demands, labor laws, and employee preferences, ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor staffing metrics (e.g., absenteeism, overtime, productivity), analyze workforce trends, and present actionable insights to management.

- Forecasting & Demand Management: Use historical data and predictive analytics to anticipate staffing needs during peak seasons or projects, preventing shortages or overstaffing.

- Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and organizational policies in workforce-related processes.

- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with HR, Operations, and departmental managers to address staffing challenges, resolve disputes, and improve processes.

- Technology Utilization: Leverage workforce management software to streamline scheduling, payroll integration, and real-time tracking of workforce availability.

Qualifications:

- Education: Master's in Business Administration, in Human Resources, or a related field.

- Experience: 7+ years in human resources with a significant role in workforce management, preferably in logistics or a similar industry. Experience managing diverse workforces is a plus.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in workforce management tools and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and problem-solving aptitude. Ability to mediate and build rapport with diverse teams.

- Knowledge: Understanding of logistics operations, labor regulations, and employee engagement strategies.

- Proactive approach to identifying workforce bottlenecks.

- Adaptability in managing diverse and dynamic teams.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decisions.
