Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership within the wholesale banking division to understand business goals and devise HR strategies that support the achievement of these objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
2. Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand hiring needs, workforce projections, and talent gaps.
3. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring fair and consistent resolution while minimizing legal risks.
4. Performance Management:
- Develop and implement performance management programs to drive a high-performance culture within the wholesale banking division.
- Partner with business leaders to set performance objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and identify development opportunities for employees.
5. Talent Development:
- Identify skill gaps and development needs within the wholesale banking workforce and collaborate with Learning and Development teams to design and deliver training initiatives.
- Facilitate career development discussions and succession planning efforts to build a pipeline of talent for key roles.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
- Work closely with Compensation and Benefits teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures for wholesale banking employees.
- Advise on reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain top talent.
7. Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives within the wholesale banking division, helping employees navigate organizational changes effectively.
- Provide guidance on communication strategies and employee engagement efforts during periods of change.
8. HR Metrics and Analytics:
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on key HR metrics and trends within the wholesale banking division
