Purpose of the Job :
To partner with the business, provide HR support and facilitation in tandem with the Employee Services team to develop and implement business solutions in line with HR and Business strategies

General :
- Support development & drive implementation of Global HR strategy at a local level in line with the (local) Business strategy
- (Further) develop and ensure efficient implementation of global and local HR processes, policies and tools at a local level
- Support, coach and counsel Line and Senior Management in all HR related matters, e.g. concerning HR processes and tools, leadership and organizational change and development
- Mobility: Counsel Line and Senior Management and ensure efficient local implementation (coordination, compliance) on global mobility and delegation, applying the respective policies (LTAP, STAP, IFAP, Local Plus)
- Close cooperation with internal (e.g. Global HR Management, Payroll) and external interfaces
- Champions the COMPANY Code of Ethics and Values, promotes the interests and image of the company
- Works closely with Employee services and contributes to the development and implementation of Country HR Policies, in line with its business plans & requirements and COMPANY HR Policy.
- Analyse HR data so as to address issues pertaining to attrition, staffing, employee performance, training
HR Processes :
- Implements with the support from Employee Services, leads and monitors all HR processes for the defined client group (e.g. performance management process, salary review process, development, separation).
- Provides coordination and support for management and employees to implement COMPANY People Management annual cycle and self-service local deployment; ensures accuracy and timeliness of records.
- Provides process follow-up and support, especially in terms of training and development planning collectively and individually.
- Validates compensation reviews (salary & bonus) and promotions in accordance with business directives and delegation of authority.
- Ensures data accuracy in Company HR Systems (SAP, People Soft, Taleo etc).
- Contributes to the improvement of systems for all HR processes.
Planning and Budgeting :
- Works out detailed HC budget and respect personnel cost budget and training cost for his/her scope.
- Responsibility to ensure periodic Work Force Planning, 3 Year Plan, Budget Reviews for scope.
Staffing & Reporting :
- Lead the recruitment process including job description and candidate profiles for all positions and actively search for methods of winning over qualified people.
- Follow business and local procedures regarding recruitment approvals
- Lead employment process in line with legal requirements and COMPANY procedures
- Cooperate with external institution and firms in scope of staff recruitment and development
- Ensure local headcount reporting and administrative record accuracy in ALPS
People Management Annual Cycle :
- Drive people management processes (objective setting, development and improvement planning, know-how assessment, performance management, succession planning), facilitate & support management and employees in the implementation of the COMPANY People Management cycle
- Provide process follow-up & support, e.g. concerning collective & individual training / development activities
- Support and advise Line and Sr. Management concerning disciplinary actions, counsel on aspects of local regulations and labor laws
- Propose and validate compensation reviews (salary and bonus) and promotions
- Ensure data record accuracy
- Manage & facilitate Internal Mobility actions, growth within the organization (Company Level changes Viz promotions etc)
Position Requirements : Education, Experience, Competencies
Educational Requirements :
Mandatory :
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business, Psychology or equivalent
Desirable:
- Masters in Business Administration / Post Graduation in Management
Experience Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role.
Mandatory :
- Minimum 5 year in a similar role as HR generalist in a Professional / Multinational / Multicultural environment; in-depth HR experience/knowledge
- Working knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection, staff planning and labor cost budgeting skills
- Solid understanding, knowledge & experience in HR Management tools, policies, processes & best practices
- Good knowledge of the local labor laws
- Ability to efficiently use technical tools (MS Office, Lotus Notes)
- Fluency in local language and in English; any other language skills may be of advantage
- High sense of responsibility and ownership as well as good judgment and decision making skills
- Drive and leadership
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Good influencing and negotiation skills
- Flexible/outside the box thinking, creativity and hands on approach, - can do- attitude
- Strong team working abilities
- Ability to effectively multi task and to cope with complexity of a matrix organization. Desirable:
- Knowledge of EPC environment preferably Power/Transport
- Knowledge of Power Plant products
- Understanding of financial concepts relevant to business P&L, Balance Sheet
- Knowledge of region HR practices, key talent pool sources in region with competition
- Exposure to various international delegation methodologies and assignment of staff
- Exposure to People Soft and locally used HR systems such as SAP HR
