Manufacturing HR Business Partner will be a senior human resources professional who will work closely with the leadership team of VBL to align HR strategies and practices with the overall business goals and objectives. He will play a critical role in helping the company attract, develop, and retain top talent, as well as in driving employee engagement and satisfaction.
Some specific responsibilities of a Manufacturing HR Business Partner will include:
1. Partnering with leaders to understand the business goals and HR needs of the organization, and developing and implementing HR strategies to support those goals.
2. Acting as a consultant to leaders on all HR-related matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
3. Facilitating and leading HR initiatives such as employee engagement surveys, training and development programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
4. Supporting management on employee relations issues in terms proactive strategies for maintaining healthy employee relations and providing coaching and support to leaders on how to effectively manage and resolve conflicts.
5. Collaborating with the recruitment team to attract and retain top talent, including
participating in the interview and selection process.
6. Leading and facilitating change management initiatives, including communicating changes to employees and helping them to adjust to new processes or policies.
7. Providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, such as benefits, policies, and procedures.
8. Maintaining knowledge of employment laws and regulations and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Implementing all HR Programs and initiatives developed by Group COEs including implementing HR MS tool (like Success Factor) in all locations. To be successful in this role, the Manufacturing HR Business Partner should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and provide solutions to complex HR challenges. A strong understanding of the manufacturing industry is also important, as is the ability to work collaboratively with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization.
Ideal Person Profile:
1. Experience of over 20-25 years in manufacturing sector. Some of the experience should be in FMCG/Bottling industry.
2. Sound knowledge of progressive HR Practices in the areas of talent management, leadership development, functional and behavioural training, talent acquisition, implementation of HR MS Tools like Success Factors or similar, Employee engagement, TQM implementation etc
3. Age - 45-50 years
4. Stature, communication skills and ability to influence and impact
5. Lead a large and dispersed team of Plant and Cluster HR Heads
6. Position reports to CHRO - VBL and functionally to Head of Manufacturing
