This position will be responsible for range of human resources activities in the areas of leadership, organization development, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation, recruitment, and training and development and ensure all the HR strategies and programs implemented are in line with business strategy and to support the growth in the country.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Working in collaboration with the leadership team to establish and implement country HR strategy to support business objectives
- Manage all activities related to C&B, staffing, training & employee relation management
- Working collaboratively with the leadership team, ensure thorough workforce plans are in place to ensure the proper availability of skills and talent to meet the growth needs of the business
- Advise and provide assistance to supervisors and managers on identifying, evaluating, and resolving employee relations issues. Coaching, counseling, and influencing of business leaders in the areas of employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, and career development
- Work closely with global & regional HR to align the local HR practices with Emerson Corporate guidelines and division initiatives
- Play a key role as gate keeper to ensure the compliance of local labor law, Emerson ethics policy and ESH guidelines
- Work with management team to create a productive working environment and foster positive employee relationship
