As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. You will act as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, serving as a key advisor on talent management, organizational development, and employee relations. The HRBP will work closely with senior leadership to implement HR strategies that drive business results and enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop HR strategies that support business goals.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to management on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues within assigned business units.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and recommend solutions.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Management:
- Identify and address training and development needs across the organization.
- Facilitate leadership development programs to build internal capabilities.
- Support performance management processes, including performance appraisals and feedback.
Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation and organizational change.
- Partner with leaders to communicate and manage organizational changes effectively.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize HR analytics and metrics to drive business decisions.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and engagement levels.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Provide guidance on compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
- Work with management to design competitive compensation packages.
HR Operations:
- Oversee HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with the HR team to improve operational efficiencies and HR service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a HRBP or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in talent management, employee relations, and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS, performance management systems).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with logistics domain.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate complex situations.
