HR Business Partner - IT Hiring

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This role will be a blend of IT recruitment and business partnering, where the HRBP will work closely with both the IT hiring team and business leaders to support talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT hiring processes, as well as the ability to collaborate with business leaders to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Talent Acquisition:

- Lead the recruitment process for IT roles, ensuring the right talent is sourced, evaluated, and hired to meet the company's technical needs.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.

- Develop strategies to attract top IT talent through job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships with universities/colleges.

- Ensure a seamless candidate experience from sourcing through to onboarding.

2. Business Partnering:

- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by understanding their goals, challenges, and workforce needs.

- Partner with senior leadership to drive and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, improving overall organizational performance.

- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

- Proactively identify opportunities for workforce optimization and culture enhancement.

3. Employee Engagement & Retention:

- Support the creation of programs and initiatives to drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention.

- Assist with the resolution of employee relations issues, and ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular feedback sessions with employees to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

4. Training & Development:

- Collaborate with the learning and development team to identify skill gaps and design training programs tailored to IT employees and business leaders.

- Support career development initiatives and employee growth within the IT department.

5. HR Strategy & Compliance:

- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies, policies, and initiatives in alignment with overall business goals.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and industry standards.

- Maintain data integrity in HR systems and generate reports on recruitment, retention, and other HR metrics.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

- Proven experience (5-9 years) in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role, with a focus on IT recruitment.

- Strong understanding of IT industry hiring trends, job roles, and technical skill requirements.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach.

- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

- Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies or technical recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, etc.).
