Position summary:
The Senior PAC Manager is responsible for the end-to-end strategic planning, communications and delivery of HR programs and policies, as well as leading the implementation of key HR Programs across assigned client groups. As the main point of contact for assigned client groups on all HR matters, you will build and maintain influential relationships with leaders and act as an advocate for employees. The Senior PAC Manager will, at times, provide HR Operations and Generalist support to the team. primary responsibilities
Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client
Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
Engages directly and regularly with leaders and their teams to drive the business agenda
Proactively supports the delivery of HR programs and processes at the clients side
Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally
Leads in change management projects and manages HR related internal and external communications, may create new communication methods
Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks
Strategically aligns and collaborates with key stakeholders in other functions and departments (Finance, PAC, IT, Facilities etc.)
Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
Identifies learning opportunities and proactively trains and upskills managers and team members
Contribute to the development and execution of PAC strategies and successfully execute PAC agenda in support of organizational objectives.
Partner with and coach, managers and leaders to create high performing teams.
Facilitate organizational and cultural change.
Connect with employees to enhance employee engagement, career development and retention.
Identify people trends and insights to support data-driven people decisions.
Develop, implement and administer policies and programs to ensure it complies with local, state, federal and international legislation while nurturing a positive work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND behaviors
Previous experience as an HR Business Partner
Knowledgeable regarding most business practices and processes, strong business acumen
Comfortable shifting from strategic HR Business Partner work to tactical HR Generalist work
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's standing in the competitive environment
Excellent communication skills
Proven project management and change management skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Current labor law knowledge in the US
Prior experience leading global HR practices preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS or equivalent experience
8 - 12 years of Human Resources experience (SPHR, PHR preferred)
5+ years in Big 10 consulting environment preferred
5+ years in technology environment preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 0-10% of the time will be spent traveling.
