Job Description :
- The individual will be responsible for both HR Business Partnering as well creating an engagement framework within the team. This will include communication framework, culture and leadership principles assimilation, and support for pulse activities at the associate level.
- The role may also require managing employee metrics at the associate level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Champion employee engagement, set up employee engagement principles and practices to ensure positive employee engagement and communications are in place
- Lead the action planning arising from Associate Insight Survey (engagement survey), program-manage the survey execution and support in driving initiatives to help achieve engagement targets
- Create the Retail Systems communication framework to drive culture
- Program manage initiatives to drive Amazon leadership principles, business vision and charter among the associate and first level manager population
- Create a structured methodology and program manage the delivery of soft skills and functional training for associate population in Retail Services.
- Conduct pulses/HR skip meetings with associates and use data to highlight risks to associate engagement and morale
- Provide metrics and reporting for engagement, training and other associate specific data

- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
- Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness
- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills, high quality document and report preparation
- The optimum candidate should possess an understanding of retail teams and how to grow and develop retail leaders
- Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of employment laws
- Proven ability to successfully work as a team member and to build and maintain a positive work environment across the network
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
Basic Qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years experience in the areas of HR, L&D or employee engagement
- Post graduate degree in HR from a premiere college
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on approach
- Success in creating, driving and program managing effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
- Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
- Ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions independently
Preferred Qualification :
- Proven understanding of the role and functions of a human resource office within a corporate operations structure
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to organize workload to ensure that programs are driven as per plan.
- Exposure to talent analytics - Ability to create reports and analyze employee metrics
- Able to travel, as appropriate
