A Leading company is looking for a HR Business Partner with 2-5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies for maintaining positive relationships with unions and contractual labor.

- Lead negotiations during collective bargaining processes, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial agreements.

- Address employee grievances and disputes in a timely and efficient manner, promoting a harmonious work environment.

- Stay updated with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Employee Relations (ER) Management:

- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on ER matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

- Collaborate with HR teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that foster a positive work culture and align with organizational goals.

- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal requirements.

Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management:

- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and align IR/ER strategies with business objectives.

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, legal, finance, and operations teams, to support seamless coordination and decision-making.

- Act as a liaison between the organization and external entities such as government agencies, legal advisors, and labor unions, representing the company's interests effectively.

Collective Bargaining Agreement (CFA) Management:

- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to review, negotiate, and administer CFAs, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor and report on CFA performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies proactively.

- Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on CFA-related matters, including wage and benefit structures.

Team Support and Development:

- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their skills in IR/ER practices.

- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for IR/ER roles, contributing to a strong and competent team.

- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to IR/ER policies, procedures, and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in IR/ER preferred.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial relations, employee relations, or related roles, with a focus on business partnering.

- Proven track record of successful negotiations, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management in a complex organizational environment.

- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with experience in dealing with unions, legal entities, and government agencies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, coaching, and strategic planning.

- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems; familiarity with labor relations software/tools is a plus.
