Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Human Resource
Preferred Relevant Experience
- 5+ years HR Business partnering experience in a retail or FnB setup
- Should have an experience in managing multiple business, across geographies units as a HR Business partner
- Extensive travelling to be done
- Exposure to Store compliance would be preferred
Areas of Responsibility :
Planning/ Strategy :
1. Understands and implements the AOP Plan
2. Support implementation of the quarter-on-quarter plan
3. Plan and strategize People plan for the Multiple units and regions assigned
Key functional responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Induction
1. Understand and builds a hiring pipeline to ensure on time supply of talent for all new stores and existing stores.
2. Review staffing situation periodically given trade area changes, increasing competition, & store expansion details.
3. Lead the campus recruitments for Trainee Managers & provide support in Fast Track Restaurant Manager hiring.
4. Evaluate and partner with graduate campuses for hiring processes (right from employer branding at campus to the offer letter). Organize
pre-joining engagement programs at various locations like guest lectures on campuses, campus connects etc
5. Plan and organize on-boarding and induction for all campus recruits.
6. Monitor performance, attendance & development milestones etc. for the campus recruits during the first 9 months of joining ( till the point they become a Restaurant Assistant Manager) and report with action plan to the Ops Managers
Performance Management & Employee Engagement
1. Lead the Performance Management system and talent calibration (performance and talent calibration) from Trainee manager level up-to Restaurant manager level within the region.
2. Ensure Ops Consultants/ Restaurant Managers are trained on this system for performance dialogues and for managing the talent calibrationsessions.
3. Ensure the Ops manager implement and document the performance management plans for their region.
4. Lead the succession planning process for Restaurant Managers roles.
5. Lead the employee opinion surveys for respective regions (for crew and management), review and action plan basis the results.
8. Support Training team in identifying training needs of all functional training as per training calendar for all restaurant employees
9. Execute the engagement calendar on a quarterly calendar (e.g. recognition events, competitions, etc.) within the allocated budgets and
conduct feedback sessions for understanding the ROI in the regions.
10. Ensure execution of quarterly communication forums & take employee feedback and address the issues in order to keep track of employee issues. Analyse findings and recommend corrective plans to the stakeholders.
11. Leverage HRMS to make key people decisions including employee life cycle changes.
Employee Relations & Compliances:
1. Understand labor law and be able to train restaurant managers on disciplinary actions, involuntary exits cases, etc.
2. Drive the implementation of existing HR Policies & procedures region-wide.
3. Provide support via data to the ER Manager in cases of biased treatment by managers (termination, performance related ,etc.).
4. Conduct quarterly restaurant audits to ensure 100% compliance with laws and company employee practices (people minimum / standards/documents, etc.).
5. Conduct random Exit Interviews from crew and regular exit interviews for all management employees and provide feedback to theOMs/Ops Consultants.
6. Responsible for Annual review of outsourced vendors specifically Housekeeping, Security and Delivery teams
