Our client is a global company in the fintech sector that has been formed as a JV between two world leaders - one, a global giant in the derivatives space and second, a world leader in financial research and analytics.
The new company is being formed by merging two entities, both of which are highly profitable companies with a combined track record of 80 years. Our client will be creating products that focus on the entire post-trade spectrum of activities in the global financial market. Their existing products will be re-positioned with the latest technologies.
The Job
We are looking HR Business Partner in India works proactively to support on all HR related matters in the region in consultation with the global HR team. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to the senior/line management and employees that reflects the business objectives. The role will be accountable for the India region and candidate should have some exposure with working to the International Stakeholders.
- Provide HR support in the India region.
- Partnering with the local leaders/managers on a range of HR related activities like manager capability, team efficiency, talent management, succession planning, yearly pay cycle, etc.
- Applying knowledge of employment law and exercising good judgment to effectively resolve employment relations issues in consultation with the local management, wider HR team/s and legal.
- Ensuring end-to-end HR Service Delivery by partnering closely with all the people/HR functions. e.g., Recruitment, Mobility, HR Operations.
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and initiatives to ensure that the short, medium and long term needs of the business are met.
- Driving the regional focus on employee engagement, in alignment with the global agenda.
- Single Point of Contact for any escalations on HR queries in the region.
- Drive the Global HR Strategy in the region.
- Handling any issues related to Employee Relations.
- Regular interaction with the Shareholder Company HR teams to ensure a smooth HR service delivery in the region.
- Accountable for HR Compliance & Regulations in the region.
- Deliver on global HR projects as part of the overall HR Strategy Plan.
Your Profile
- 7+ years' experience in HR Business role.
- Good understanding of the many disciplines within HR, including diversity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, talent acquisition, etc.
- Excellent stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization.
- Good change management and project management capabilities.
- Data literacy, business acumen, digital proficiency and people advocacy will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of compliance & regulations in the India region.
