Job Description :
The HR Business Partner would be responsible for supporting the business by identifying and developing solutions based on business priorities and organizational analysis. S/he will be will be leading Generalist activities like employee engagement, driving talent management agenda, Attrition Analysis, Career Planning & Mobility, people committee initiatives, performance management etc.
The incumbent will partner with the business to implement relevant HR strategies supporting business growth and people model.
- This is a hands-on HR generalist role with key components of business partnership, employee connect, HR efficiency and employee advocacy.
- The individual needs to be knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of HRM activities.
- Would be responsible to support key stakeholders and line business managers in addressing and closing all HR related queries.
- Strong focus on employee connect and developing and implementing engagement strategies along with business managers.
- Partners with client groups to embed and evolve the people element of the business strategy – key aspects will include retention, training and morale of the workforce
- Translates business needs into a staffing strategy and works to develop resource requirement plans.
- Build a performance culture and ensure the performance management processes are implemented in the right spirit.
- Engage managers on manpower planning and assist them in proactively planning for future. Ensure succession planning rigor for client groups.
- Supports the annual compensation round ensuring consistent and fair decisions are made in the promotion, bonus and salary increase processes. Also ensures those decisions are market and performance driven.
- Handles employee relations issues, movements and transfers.
- Coaches managers on how to provide leadership to their teams and consult them as per specific requirements and needs.
Recommended Key Competencies/ Qualification:
- MBA HR or equivalent from a reputed institute (only from Tier 1 institutes)
- 8 - 12 years of HR generalist experience with a strong learning orientation
- Strong level of employee advocacy
- Teamwork & Communication Skills, strong result orientation
- Exposure to the entire gamut of HR activities
- Openness to Innovation, tolerance for Ambiguity and able to effectively manage change
- Ability to multi-task and stay flexible to changing business environment
- Ability to work collaboratively to develop strong relationships with internal / external stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Good knowledge of MS Office, proficiency on Lotus Notes is preferred
