Job Responsibilities:
- Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables, including performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc.
- Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans for business unit restructuring
- Pre-screening candidate applications and resumes for required skills; experience and knowledge to fit position requirements
- Writing letters for promotions, transfers, and new hires in collaboration with department management
- Facilitates the process of candidate selection; interviewing; job offer; background check; and candidate on-boarding details
- Develop and nurture partnerships through human resources to bridge the divide between management and employees
- Maintain awareness of the culture, plans, financial position, and competition of the business units under the HR purview
- Conduct weekly meetings to check in with each business unit
- Identify training needs and create or procure a professional development curriculum
- Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met provide support in driving strategic projects.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary
- Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
- Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal department when necessary
Job Requirements:
- MBA/Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related field
- 5-8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
- Strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements
- Proven client management and business literacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing; qualifying; networking; assessing; selling and wage/salary trends
- Proven acuity in MS office suite, internet, and database management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
