Primary Function
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing several human resource activities within a global environment for a business unit. In this position, you will participate in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's goals while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and corporate policies across different regions.
Specific Responsibilities
- Leads the recruitment and selection process for critical positions, including within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet operational needs. Develops and implements effective onboarding processes and programs to facilitate smooth integration of new employees into the organization.
- Fosters a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives across diverse teams and locations. Handles employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Designs and implements performance management systems to drive employee performance, goal setting, evaluations, and career development. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance improvement strategies and processes.
- Identifies training needs, develops training programs, and facilitates learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and competencies. Collaborates with department leaders to create career development plans for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Put particular focus on employer branding in bringing corporate culture to life to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensures compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and corporate HR policies across different regions. Stays up to date on HR trends, changes in legislation, and industry best practices to maintain a proactive approach in HR strategies.
- Develops and analyzes HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provides insightful reports to senior management. Utilizes data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Education & Experience
- Master's degree in human resources, organizational leadership and development, or business required, with a preference towards an applicable certification or designation.
- 13+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a global manufacturing environment. Thorough understanding of international employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. A resilient person who is good at people skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, and other relevant HR software.
