Position Purpose & Summary
- The HR Analytics Supervisor will be responsible for developing the analytics and development framework and solution, as well as implementation of relevant processes needed to achieve operational excellence. The role is expected to oversee projects, HR Data Analysis, Creating Dashboards/Story Boards.
- The role is expected to determine the best possible method to analyze and discover value through data and information that drives value . The role is required to work with number of stakeholders across the organization and assist in smooth operations regarding HR Data Analysis. The role manages the team that will gather, analyze, visualize and tell stories with HR data regarding but not limited to demographics, compensation decisions, talent, recruitment, etc. Apply knowledge of HR systems and expert data analysis skills to outline trends and insights that influence strategic business decisions
- The role will work with varies clients to understand/define service request, to understand/define the service request, identify the data sources, gather structured and/or unstructured data sets and perform analytics utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel etc. to meet the business needs and objectives.
- The role will coach team members and ensure processes are followed as per SOPs. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedure/Work Instructions are updated. Use KPI measures where appropriate. The role will work with multiple stakeholders and partners to service requests and provide consultative services.
Principal Accountabilities 35%
- Complete knowledge of Employee Data Management (including Position Management) and HR Reporting & Analytics to support the process along with team
- Lead team supporting Reporting and Analytics projects through use of SAP SuccessFactors application reporting and Hadoop / PowerBI solution
- Work with Business/HR Leaders and team to conduct complex analysis of reports, visualize and create dashboards to meet business requirements
- Guides team to create Meaningful Data Story boards to assist business/HR take required decisions
- Lead and partner with Analytics team on projects by translating business questions and problems into structured analyses
- Visualize and report data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats that appropriately provides insights to the organization.
- With minimal oversight, draws conclusions and presents analysis findings to BU/Functional leadership.
- Leverage strong business acumen and business domain knowledge to anticipate business inquiries
- Use knowledge of analytics, statistics and modeling techniques to develop and improve sophistication of analytical solutions
- Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business
- Responsible for / coordinates update of documentation of SOPs/WI/training materials
- Collaborate with Reporting team to triage application based reporting requests that need detailed extracts for more operational purposes
- Establishes KPIs for the processes. Responsible for preparation of reports/updates for use of HR/Managers/Leadership
- Ensures appropriate design, implementation and maintenance of HR tools and resources related to Database (For e.g., Foundation Objects Form, New Hire Template, etc.)
- Champions operational excellence and continuous improvement (includes increase in efficiency, quality, reduce costs)
- Benchmarking of best practices and implementation of the same.
- Effective and efficient management of Remedy Force Queue including use of Agile concepts to plan work and use capacity
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT 25%
- Global Stakeholder management (includes but not limited to HR Leaders, COE, Market HR Operations Team, Market HR)
- Provides consultative/advisory services to execute projects to enhance/mature analytical capabilities
- Project Management on large changes/CRs to be implemented
- Provides day-to-day inputs on delivery of database management support
- Work with Application Maintenance Support and Global Process, Data & Technology team regarding challenges and improvements to be made to the process
HR DATA GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE 15%
- Provides consultation/advisory services to HR and Business Managers/Supervisors/Employees on process regarding Database Management (Including position management) and HR Reporting & Analytics
- Establishes accountability measures and processes that enforce and ensure compliance and confidentiality of data
- PEOPLE & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT 25%
- Manages and provides coaching to team members on People, Process and Technology
- Recruitment of team members
- Accountable for team's performance management, talent development, succession planning, engagement
- Partners with supervisors across different CBS locations to develop, manage and engage talent
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Skills
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate
- 8 - 10 years- Experience in HR Reporting
- Experience in End to End HR Reporting and Analytics (Data Visualization Technologies): SQL, Big Data / Hadoop experience, PowerBI, Tableau (and similar)
- Experience in HR solutions (at a high level) (at least 3 years)
- Experience with analyzing data utilizing industry techniques and practices and analytics functions (Power BI and Tableau at a minimum, other enterprise reporting and analytics tool experience preferred)
- Release Management and Agile Experience (at least 3 years) including use of release management or ticket tracking software (JIRA, TFS, Rally, Remedy, or similar)
- Capable of presenting outcomes of HR Report Analysis and iterations
- Strong presentation and data visualization skills and proven ability to create well-crafted analytical presentation
- Consulting experience with demonstrated ability to multi-task and apply initiative and creativity on challenging projects
- Experience in managing/supervising a team (at least 5 - 6 years)
- Good working knowledge of database principles and systems
- Ability to document SOPs/WI
