HP.COM Web Analytics Specialist (4-10 yrs)
We are looking to hire a highly motivated and versatile Web Analytics Specialist for HP.com Global Analytics team. The selected candidate will have a strong business orientation preferably with e-commerce businesses, strong understanding of web transaction data lifecycle, be an expert at the Google Analytics stack of products.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy and document standardized Google Analytics dashboards
- Lead the integration of Google AdWords and DoubleClick products into standard reporting
- Provide campaign analysis & reporting support for one/multiple regions
- Support custom data investigations and derive actionable business insights for senior management to act upon
- Query internal HP databases as well as external third party databases to enhance our understanding of customer buying behavior.
- Manage own work load independently/in consultation with management across 2-3 business priorities simultaneously
- Support and drive web measurement innovation like multi-touch attribution, cross-device measurement, cross-domain measurement, etc.
Skills Required :
- Solid understanding of web analytics concepts and the latest development in web analytics tools
- Experience providing measurement of and insights on digital media including SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, email marketing and social media
- 2+ years with Google Analytics Premium spanning reporting set-up,, variable configuration etc.
- Strong understanding of GTM (Google Tag Manager), Adwords, Double-click, attribution etc. is critical to the success in the role
- Experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel & MS Access skills. Knowledge in advanced excel functions and building macros for automation.
-Strong project management and consulting skills. Self-starter with an ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Proven ability to lead a peer group and other analysts to solve complex analytics challenges
- Good communication skills with ability to convince key decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
Experience & Background :
- 3-10 yrs. experience as a web analyst.
- 2+ years of Ecommerce experience required
- BE in Engineering or MBA with experience in web analytics preferred.
