Sr Solution Architect

Responsibilities:

1. This is a B2B domain requirement

2. Define the technical requirements of the analytic solutions.

3. Define the data requirements of the analytic solution.

4. Ability to conduct sophisticated data mining analyses and build data mining models, as required, as part of the initial solution development process.

5. Translate data mining results into clear business focused deliverables for decision makers

6. Work with Application Developers to deploy data mining models into operational systems

7. Define/identify and recommend best practices for applying data mining to problem domain.

8. Design and/or contribute to the development of a data mining systems that enable reuse, efficiency, manageability and deployment.

9. Create statistical models to profile visitors based on life-cycle, click-stream and navigation behavior

10. Site optimization recommendations using A/B testing

11. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis for site efficiency and user experience optimization

12. Participate with insights in regular strategy and planning discussions with stake-holders

13. Provide analytics requirements and collaborate with IT teams to implement changes to tracking, as well as, automate the BI capability

14. Statistical segmentation and behavioral analysis of install base resulting in models

15. Generate regular insights into install base shifts and trends in terms of performance and health.

16. Based on profiling done in Install-base, assess the TAM for the given geographies

17. Resource would have to contribute using analytical insights in the planning and targeting of the above defined segments

Desired Qualification

1. More than 8 years of experience in advanced data analytics, especially, in web analytics

2. Strong business focus. Must excel at connecting business requirements to data mining objectives and to measurable business benefit.

3. 5+ years of experience working with Omniture Click-stream data, SalesForce.com, SQL, Firmographic information from major sources like D&B, Contact demographics in B2B space

4. More than 3 years of experience working on SAS/R for data manipulation, data crunching and modeling

5. Advanced expert of Excel

6. Expert use of data mining methodologies such as regression, association rules, sequence analysis, cluster analysis.

7. Should have understanding of web instrumentation needed for advanced analytics

8. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and able to meet deadlines

9. Excellent communication and presentation skills

10. Should have experience in working with IT teams to automate deployment of recommendations
